Built Across the Carolinas
Carolina CAT Gastonia
Full sitework package for the 38,553 SF Carolina CAT dealership in Gastonia — clearing, mass grading, utilities, storm drainage, paving and concrete flatwork.
Carolina CAT Gastonia
Jenkins self-performed the complete sitework package for the new 38,553-square-foot Carolina CAT dealership in Gastonia, developing a 27.73-acre site with roughly 16 acres of disturbance. The scope spanned the full range of civil work: demolition and mass clearing, erosion control, and mass grading that moved nearly 59,000 cubic yards of cut and fill. The crew then installed the site's underground infrastructure — sanitary sewer, an extensive water system with fire service and hydrant, and a storm-drainage network of 15- to 36-inch RCP feeding a converted wet pond — before finishing with asphalt paving, curb and gutter, striping, and more than 80,000 square feet of heavy-duty concrete flatwork, sidewalks, and ADA ramps. Project managed by Jenkins PM Bil Jones.
Carolina CAT North Graham
Site development for the Carolina CAT dealership on North Graham Street in Charlotte — grading, storm drainage, and asphalt paving.
McGill Family YMCA
Full sitework for the McGill Family YMCA (formerly Stowe Family YMCA) in Belmont — grading, storm drainage, utilities and asphalt paving.
Shannon Bradley
Eight-acre laydown yard in Gastonia — full site package including grading, storm drainage, utilities and asphalt paving.
Westside Logistics
Full sitework package for a 180,000 SF logistics center on Cox Road in Gastonia — clearing, mass grading, utilities, storm drainage and paving.
Westside Logistics
Jenkins delivered the full sitework package for a 180,000-square-foot logistics center on Cox Road in Gastonia, working for general contractor Reeves Young. The 17-acre site — roughly 12.5 acres of it disturbed — began with erosion control and the mass clearing and grubbing of about 13 acres, followed by mass grading that balanced more than 79,000 cubic yards of cut to fill. From rough grade the crew fine-graded the building pad, asphalt and heavy-duty concrete areas, and curb lines, then carried the site through underground utilities, storm drainage, asphalt paving, and concrete to a finished, truck-ready facility.
WestLake Market
Full sitework package for a Harris Teeter–anchored retail center in Clover, SC — site balance, storm, utilities and asphalt paving.
WestLake Market
Jenkins delivered the full sitework package for WestLake Market, a Harris Teeter–anchored retail center at Highway 55 (Lake Wylie Road) and Charlotte Highway in Clover, South Carolina, developed by Aston Properties. The 22.67-acre site — about 11 acres disturbed — was balanced on-site with roughly 118,000 cubic yards of cut and fill, including a wet pond built into the stormwater design. Jenkins self-performed phased erosion control; an all-RCP storm system ranging from 15 to 48 inches feeding the wet pond; relocation and installation of the sanitary sewer main with 27 manholes; a full ductile-iron water system with two jack-and-bore crossings; and light- and heavy-duty asphalt paving across the drives and parking — plus offsite road improvements on Homegrown Way.
Skyway Industrial
Turnkey site package for Skyway Industrial — two tilt-wall buildings totaling 318,308 SF on 43 acres in Charlotte, substantially complete in 2025.
Skyway Industrial
Jenkins delivered the turnkey site package for Skyway Industrial, a two-building tilt-wall development in Charlotte for EastGroup Properties totaling 318,308 square feet (a 148,154 SF building and a 170,154 SF building). The team cleared and graded 43 acres, balancing more than 330,000 cubic yards of cut and fill, then built the full underground infrastructure: a stormwater system with RCP up to 42 inches, a sand filter, and a wet-pond conversion; sanitary sewer with bypass pumping, manholes, tie-ins and testing; and a complete water system with multiple tap sizes, RPZ backflow assemblies, fire risers and hydrants. A lift station and a jack-and-bore crossing were added mid-project with minimal impact to the schedule. Jenkins finished with light- and heavy-duty paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks and ADA ramps, plus offsite roadway improvements on Pinecrest and Shopton. Substantially complete August 2025.
