John E. Jenkins, Inc. delivered the civil sitework package for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, a charter school campus on Poplar Tent Church Road in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Working from plans prepared by Civil & Environmental Consultants, Jenkins' scope covered construction layout and modeling, traffic control, erosion inspection and documentation, mass clearing and grubbing, and early site access needs for the campus buildout.

The grading package included topsoil stripping and stockpiling, more than 117,000 cubic yards of balanced cut-to-fill work, athletic-field grading, building-pad preparation for the lower and upper school buildings, curb and sidewalk grading, and final yard-area grading across a large active education site.

Jenkins also carried the underground and finish-sitework package: storm drainage, sand-filter conversions, modular block retaining-wall coordination, sanitary sewer, public and private water systems, asphalt paving and subbase, curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, pavement markings, signage, and public-road/offsite widening improvements.
