Industrial / Commercial — Carolina CAT Facility

Carolina CAT Gastonia

Complete sitework package for a new Carolina CAT facility in Gastonia, including clearing, erosion control, mass grading, utilities, storm drainage, paving and concrete flatwork.

Gastonia, NC · 2026

John E. Jenkins, Inc. performed the full civil sitework package for Carolina CAT's new Gastonia facility, preparing a large commercial equipment facility site for building construction, customer access, service circulation and durable heavy-use outdoor areas.

The work began with clearing, demolition, erosion-control setup and mass grading across the developed portion of the site. From there, Jenkins carried the underground infrastructure: sanitary sewer, domestic and fire water service, storm-drainage pipe, drainage structures and a wet-pond conversion.

The finished sitework supported the facility's mix of public-facing access, equipment-service operations, yard circulation and high-load paved surfaces, with asphalt, curb, striping, concrete aprons, sidewalks, ADA ramps and bollards included in the package.

Building a service facility or heavy-use commercial site? Jenkins can handle the civil package from clearing and grading through utilities, storm drainage, paving and concrete.
