SMS Terms

These SMS Terms apply to the John E. Jenkins, Inc. operational text messaging program. By opting in to receive text messages from John E. Jenkins, Inc., you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.

SMS Program Description

John E. Jenkins, Inc. sends low-volume, non-marketing operational SMS messages to employees and approved business contacts who provide their mobile phone number directly to the company. Messages may include Daily Field Report reminders, job coordination, schedule updates, safety notices, weather notices, dispatch updates, and operational follow-up.

The program is intended for work-related business communications. It is not a promotional or consumer marketing program.

Consent and Opt-In

Recipients opt in by providing their mobile phone number directly to John E. Jenkins, Inc. through employment onboarding, business onboarding, paper forms, direct verbal consent during project coordination with office or field management, or by texting START or YES to the Jenkins SMS number listed on the company's SMS opt-in instructions.

By opting in, you confirm that the mobile number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to use it. If your mobile number changes, or if you are no longer the authorized user of the number, please notify John E. Jenkins, Inc. so we can update our records. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on work assignments, operational needs, and project activity. Message and data rates may apply. John E. Jenkins, Inc. does not charge recipients to receive SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge for messages or data under your wireless plan.

SMS delivery may not be available in all areas, at all times, or through all mobile carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Help and Opt-Out

Reply HELP to any Jenkins SMS message for help. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. After replying STOP, you may receive one confirmation message and then no further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

STOP and HELP are the supported SMS commands. Requests that use different wording may not be recognized automatically. You may also contact John E. Jenkins, Inc. directly at (704) 864-5421.

Privacy

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that help us operate business systems or communications may process SMS information only as needed to provide services to John E. Jenkins, Inc. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Changes to the Program

John E. Jenkins, Inc. may modify or discontinue the SMS program or these SMS Terms when needed. Updates are effective when posted on this page. We may also change the phone number used for SMS messages and will make reasonable efforts to communicate that change.
